Article Printing & Logistics

Reprint printing and logistics capabilities can have a material impact on your company’s ability to meet tight deadlines in a global business environment. Whether you need 1,000 professionally printed journal article reprints for a key Congress or 100 reprints for each affiliate office around the world, we can help.  Below are just a few of the fundamental ways that these expanded capabilities come to bear.

Order globally, ship locally Order globally, ship locally
With an increasing number of Article Reprints service users ordering from us around the clock and from all around the globe, we asked ourselves “how else can we reduce costs for customers and lower delay risks that exist when shipping through customs?” The answer was easy: acquire printing and logistics companies in North America and mainland Europe. Our parent company Derycz Scientific did just that, acquiring and vertically integrating Chicago-based TAAG North America and Paris-based Techniques Appliquees aux Arts Graphiques, S.p.A. (TAAG).
Greater control means faster turnaround Greater control means faster turnaround
Owning two print houses on two continents and having a partner-operated print center in Tokyo affords us the ability to change the paradigms of the current reprint business model by enabling us to turn orders around much more quickly than the three to four weeks that are the norm today. We print and ship most commercial reprint orders within seven business days of proof approval. Digital short-run jobs (usually 300 copies or less) usually ship within 72 hours upon receipt of the PDF.
QA is in our DNA QA is in our DNA
Commensurate with our usual attention to detail, we inspect every shipment that we receive for our reprint customers from all publishers.  The amount of damaged reprint boxes in the traditional reprint industry led to our standing as the first reprint printer to institutionalize double boxing into its reprint operations.
Flexibility comes standard Flexibility comes standard
We can both produce both black and white and color short-run jobs digitally. The digital printer allows us to support print-on-demand jobs, handle rush orders efficiently, and to produce small reprint prototypes for discerning clients. Larger jobs, such as large bulk reprints, programs, newsletters and brochures, are produced on a traditional sheet-fed press utilizing the latest screen computer-to-plate workflow.
Additional services Additional services
In addition to standard printing services related to the STM reprint market, we support direct mail campaigns and provide storage facilities and fulfillment for commercial print market needs.
